چکیده

t i R r o t o t H i P S c E w t a The times, they are a-changin’ ”—a familiar vocal rerain—is a sentiment that applies to the field of continuing edical education (CME). The provision of high quality ME to improve the care of patients with cardiovascular isease remains the core mission of the American College of ardiology (ACC). Fundamental changes across the landcape of CME, however, have created both challenges and pportunities for the College to maintain and expand its ortfolio of educational programs and products. These hanges include the evolving expectations for patiententered care and professional education, the need to assess ember learning needs, and the regulations governing the elationship of non-profit CME providers (such as the CC) to industry. By adapting to such changes and emonstrating continued leadership in cardiovascular eduation, the College will successfully fulfill its core mission.
